This class is a full-day introduction to outdoor rock climbing. If you have never climbed or if you have indoor experience only we’ll help you with the transition from gym to crag. The entire class is taught at the cliff. All the basic skills are covered, from knots and gear to climbing technique. We will give you an overview of the various disciplines of climbing with a focus on top-roping.
*Please Note: There is a minimum of 3 participants required to run this class. If less than 3 people sign up, we will contact you 3 days prior to the date to re-schedule your class.
Comfortable clothing that does not inhibit movement. Tights, sweats, long shorts, T-shirts, tank tops, and sports bras all work great.
Space is limited in these courses. All courses must be pre-paid in full to reserve a space.
We require a minimum of 7 days to cancel or re-schedule. No refunds will be given inside of 7 days prior to the course.
The Boston Rock Gym and its guides may cancel or re-schedule due to weather. Refunds will be issued in the event of poor weather.
