This full day class will teach you how to lead single pitch trad routes. It is designed for climbers who have previous outdoor climbing experience and would like to take the next step.

|Program designed for:||Experienced climbers. Participants must have prior outdoor experience. Must have knowledge of anchor building systems.|
|Location:||Courses are located in North Conway, NH or Red Rocks in Gloucester, MA|
|Minimum Age:||Must be at least 18 years old with exception for some 16 year olds.|
|Max ratio:||4 Students : 1 Instructor|
|Gear needed:||Technical gear is included. If you have your own shoes, harness, helmet, and/or belay device, feel free to bring them.|
|Experience needed:||You need to know how to belay, how to tie in, and want an adventure. You should also be able to climb a minimum of 5.8.|
|What to wear:||
Comfortable clothing that does not inhibit movement. Tights, sweats, long shorts, T-shirts, tank tops, and sports bras all work great.
Please remember to dress for the weather. Also, bring a daypack with food and water for the day and a pair of sturdy sneakers to walk in to the climb with. Once there, your sneakers will go in your pack and on your back while we climb.
Space is limited in these courses. All courses must be pre-paid in full to reserve a space.
We require a minimum of 7 days to cancel or re-schedule. No refunds will be given inside of 7 days prior to the course.
The Boston Rock Gym and its guides may cancel or re-schedule due to weather. Refunds will be issued in the event of poor weather.
*Our class on Sunday, June 26th will be guided by AMGA Rock Guide, Joe Lentini and is titled Learn to Lead. Pricing for this class differs from our regular pricing. Bookings for the 26th must be made over the phone. This class is limited to 4 participants. Please call for pricing and more info.
