Get Out: Intro to Outdoor Climbing

This class is a full-day introduction to outdoor rock climbing. If you have never climbed or if you have indoor experience only, learn what it takes to get up big rock. The entire class is taught at the cliff. All the basic skills are covered, from knots and gear to climbing technique and rappelling. Learn it all while you climb!

Top-rope Set Up & Management

After work you need to climb - for fun or for sanity.
So whom do you climb with?
This course will teach you to set up basic top-ropes so you and your friend or relatives* can be climbing on your own. (Relatives can be friends, it depends on your family.)
Now that you are on your own, the responsibility is yours. From the approach, to the walk out, we will help prepare you to climb on your own. Available for climbers interested in learning how to properly set-up top ropes.

Big Family Outing

We know how critical it is, when children first start to climb, that they have FUN!  We offer a family introduction to climbing that is less full of all the technical stuff and more full of just climbing.  Just what a family with kids under 14 need.

Have fun, learn some of the basics and give your children an experience they will never forget.

Now What? Improvised Self-Rescue

So your out on your own four hundred feet off the deck and your partner dislocated their shoulder, what do you do? Learn the skills to get both of you quickly and safely to the ground. Escape the belay, ascend or descend to your partner, set up a haul system a lower or a rappel with your partner on your back.

Intro to Multi Pitch

Nine hundred feet of climbing is about the height of the Hancock Tower in Boston. Does that sound like a fun climb? If you have experience and you want to get better? If you have climbed indoors or have had a basic lesson outdoors and you want to go bigger? You are ready for multi pitch!
