Love climbing, but want more of a team feeling? Come join the BRG Adult Team.
Open to climbers of all skill levels, the team meets once a week for practice to work on strength conditioning and climbing focused drills. Homework is then assigned based on individual weaknesses. We suggest that team members spend additional time climbing and training outside of team practice. The strength training homework will focus on injury prevention as well as weak areas of the body. Each team member is given a journal to track their progress.
In addition to training, the team has the opportunity to compete in climbing competitions, though competing is not a requirement to be on the team. There is also local group trips to areas such as the Gunks, Rumney, Acadia, Cathedral, and many other locations in New England. We also plan a big trip at the end of the season. While not required, the team plans to get together for social gatherings throughout the season.
