Since 1989, The Boston Rock Gym has been helping climber’s of all ages and abilities to reach new heights through our innovative and exciting programs. Today, we continue this tradition by offering unique courses designed and taught by experienced professionals. Whether indoors or out, The Boston Rock Gym strives to host the best courses, all taught by certified professional instructors. The Boston Rock Gym is an industry leader in offering certified climbing instruction. In 2007, together with The Climbing Wall Association and The American Mountain Guides Association, we helped to pioneer a Rock Wall Instructor certification and training course. A majority of our instructors have taken this course and are certified by the AMGA/CWA as Rock Wall Instructors. We also offer one of the country’s only curriculum based custom climbing technique programs. In addition to our range of indoor classes, we also host a wide variety of outdoor guiding and ascent services. Our head outdoor guide Joe Lentini has been a professional climbing guide for over 30 years, and is an American Mountain Guides Association certified Rock Guide.

In every aspect of what we teach here, ranging from the most rudimentary aspects offered in our Intro to Climbing Course, to our most advanced technical and technique programs, we strive to nurture a healthy and safe climber in every student. Contact us today to learn more about where to begin your journey, and how to continue it. We look forward to hearing from you!
