Jim has always been an outdoorsman, but after joining the Appalachian Mountain Club in 1991 and taking the Boston Chapter’s Spring Climbing Program he expanded his hobbies and became an avid climber. When Jim isn’t climbing mountains and scaling rock climbing walls he enjoys hiking and backpacking anywhere from local trails and hikes in the White Mountains, to multi-day trips to Yellowstone National Park. Jim currently is AMGA Climbing Wall Instructor Certified and Wilderness First Aid Certified.
Favorite Climbs: Baxter’s Pinnacle, Grand Teton National Park. “The setting is amazing with the higher Teton peaks around you and the amazing view of Jenny Lake Below.”
